If you own/work in a comic book store, I think you've got it made

But seriously that thread about jobs/rich people got me thinking that doing work you enjoy is important. It's like Steve Jobs said in his speech
http://news.stanford.edu/news/2005/june ... 61505.htmlI googled how to find what you love to do and found this
http://briankim.net/blog/2006/07/how-to ... ove-to-do/ and I have some ideas now but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger.
Who here does what they love? Do you make enough to pay the bills? Do you regret it? or is it the best decision you ever made?

I wouldn't say I love it, but I'm proud of it, and I want to have a successful carer of it, and strive to make a name for myself in the industry.

I think love is a bit strong, but I do like it a lot. It's in my chosen field and I have a lot of independence.
I've sacrificed some of the excitement of earlier jobs for security and lack of stress, something I probably wouldn't have done when I was younger, but I'm tired of fighting stupid, pointless battles.

I love that my job is part time and I don't seem to have much oversight, and can leave early sometimes
The pay isn't great but I get by
Sure beats being unemployed another two years

I like the idea of what I do for a living a lot more than the reality of it.

I like the actual work, but I hate the other stuff that comes with it.

That's been my life for many, many years. It's why I'm a former-x for so many jobs, and others I gave up on before really getting started after learning the realities.

Verily.
PC Tech with a desk job sounds cool aside from the fact that I like being outside and I prefer to come home from work physically tired as opposed to mentally. If not for the huge discounts my kids get for college because I work here I would have went back to construction or warehouse work a long time ago.
