They way overdid it with her.

The Hulk is starting to remind me of Superman during the early Justice League. Remember how Superman was always the first guy to get knocked unconscious in every fight because the writers didn't know how to create a threat when he was around?

i actually didn't mind Carol taking out Ronan, as she was continually blasted with energy from his hammer thing, and she absorbs and rechannels it, so its entirely possible that Ronan's own power made her powerful enough to stop him. Had Carol not absorbed his power i don't think she would have been able to stop him

Did they establish that's what happened or are you just fanwanking?

I just assumed that since Ronan was using Kree energy on her, which Marv Vell was commenting on, that Ronan's attacks didn't affect her as much.

Or she was just getting really pissed off so she glowed more.

its also exactly how her powers work in the comics... and pretty much every Avengers powers have worked the exact same way in the comics as they do on the show...

Part of Ms. Marvel's power set is energy absorbtion.

And I think the way she glowed was an early peak at the show's version of Binary.

The only way she was able to beat Ronan is because he used his energy weapon on her, basically powering her up, if he had just used physical force he could have taken her no problem I bet.

When the scene focused on Ronan blasting Ms Marvel but you don't see her in the shot and then she blasts him I can't tell you how much I was hoping that the camera would pan around and everyone would see she'd transformed into Binary. That would've been fucking awesome!

Too early I think.

If the show had a chance of a third season I think that would be the time to do it.

I thought there was a chance they might do it because even they knew how silly her Ms. Marvel costume was but they wanted to show it for the fans sake but change her out of it for something cooler as quickly as possible.
