haha Magic Mike? Youre using a formulaic chick flick as a barometer of quality acting. That movie looks terrible.

Honestly rewatching the first movie after RAW last night he wasn't that bad. It's just that he wasn't a good Duke. If the character was Flint well he be perfect. I'm just surprised he's okay with his character getting killed if it's true.

Magic Mike? A formulaic chick flick? Not sure Soderbergh even knows how to make a formulaic movie.

You should watch 21 Jump Street. I agree he wasn't the best actor, but 21 Jump Street really opens up his potential.

I'm more than ok with Duke getting killed off, especially due to the crappy character they had in the first. ALso, it ramps up the fact that major character can die, which can be a great thing.

And mind you I agree with the sentiment of him being a pretty bad actor prior to 21 Jump Street. But that movie really opened him up I think and I think you can see bits of that in Magic Mike. I'm not saying he's Robert Downey, Jr. or anything, but for a role like Duke he'd be pretty serviceable and I think with some of the growth he's shown that he could expand under better direction and writing.

So was Nic Cage. Face it he's the new Nic Cage, a guy in a ton of flicks that make a decent amount of money but he cant act for shit. But he's not threatening so the masses of women will love him. Just because he's popular doesnt make him good, much like Justin Bieber.

I get that you don't like him, but you should really open your mind and check out 21 Jump Street.

I think the problem with the first movie was Stephen Sommers, myself. I've yet to see a good movie by him. The acting was pretty atrocious, as well.

I find that hard to believe given your obvious attraction to low quality movies.
