Crossed.

v3 was atrocious (wtf, Lapham?!) and I would drop it there, but Ennis is on the ongoing now so I'll give that a chance.

Crossed made its way to wait for trade because of vol. 3
I'm going to wait for word of mouth from now on

didn't know it became an ongoing thought, should be cool - until Ennis gets bored like he did with Jennifer Blood

I've been reading 'Savage Hawkman' since the reboot. Not necessarily shitty but it felt like it was just treading water until issue #6 when it started to get good. But now that Liefeld will be taking over with #9 that just bodes ill for this title :|

Easily Justice League. I never thought I'd drop a Justice League book with Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman in it, but Geoff Johns has this book at the level of unreadable.

I read Aquaman #8 today, just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind.

Looked at the cover, saw that each book has "Johns" on the cover.

But when you read them, you'd think each book was written by two totally different people: One guy who can write, and one guy who can't. At all. As in, "completely overmatched by the industry in which he works."

Baffling. I'm absolutely baffled by two things: How Johns could be this bad, and why I'm reading it to know how bad it's been.

*Sniff, sniff* "Damn it, Diana...If I'd known they would trade us in for a JT Krul-written Captain Atom and "The Savage Hawkman," I'd have let Superboy-Prime destroy all reality."

"Superman flies and is really strong...what the fuck else do you need to know?!" -- Hitler, expressing his displeasure about DC rebooting and complaints about continuity

Really? Because I find both books to be subpar.

I've been reading that also and i agree 110% on all accounts. I dont hate Liefeld drawing the way most do, but he's not a writer and it's like they just give him books to nail the coffin.

Really? Well, maybe I will give it some more time, then. I loved Penguin:Pain And Prejudice. I haven't read any of his other stuff, but if it's anywhere near as good as the Penguin mini, I would enjoy it.

I was convinced something was going to happen. Didn't think I would have to wait 5 more issues for it
