What wishes?

You have a choice. Work for DC and Marvel, get paid and create stuff for them and have no ownership. Or creator something and publish it yourself.

We call those people morons. Grown adults should have no delusions about how businesses work. One of the ways they work is not to run things based on wishes.

And he didn't create Ratatouille, either.

And Film creators get a whole lot more say (as well as better royalties) than comic creators, thanks to the film and TV unions.

Well he wrote and directed it. That should be enough. Brad Bird should own the rights.

It's ironic that he attacks Jim Lee who when he also became unhappy with getting no credit for characters he created he didn't piss and whine about, instead he created his own company where he did.
