He was making a joke, or at least I hope he is.

I'm just surprised he would make a joke like that, it's not something you see very often these days.

For what it's worth, Grant Morrison throws a joke like this into interviews a lot. At one point he advocated a return to using young children as chimney sweeps, for example. It's just what he does.

Bruce has issues that would need a team of psychiatrists and go way beyond the death of his parents, but I doubt the "gay" factor.

Grant Morrison is fantastic. By far and away the best writer at DC.

He's very funny and his take on the character is awesome. Hell it's interesting, he manages to make Batman comics interesting (and superman comics!). He's awesome.

I don't see why you guys are getting annoyed at this, pretty much every comics fan has made a 'Batman is gay' joke at one time or another, so why can't Morrison?

It's not like he's turned Batman gay in the comics or anything, he's just commenting on something pretty much the entire world has talked about since the 50s.

It's because Morrison deserves our rage for doing what every jackhole has done with the Batman is gay jokes. They have equated being gay to being a pedophile. This is a disservice to the gay community. And the Wolverine.
