Yeah, I got that from the beginning. But I have to ask 2 questions.

1) What's so excessive about Bertnelli being the Huntress on Earth 0 and Wayne being the Earth 2 Huntress? In 5 days, we're going to have 2 Supermen, Batmen, Wonder Women (who all share the same civilian name), along with 2 Flashes, 5 Green Lanterns and a shit load of Robins. Even if only one could be Huntress, you still can't tell me that one or the other couldn't be running around at the same time.

2) Are you going to sit here and bet with me that Bertnelli is going to used in the next 2 - 5 years at this point? I don't know, but with the way DC has treated it's Post-CoIE developments, we're going to have to wait till at least Didio is out of the company before that happens.

So yeah, that subtext was never lost on me, but don't expect me to blindly hope. That's just not going to happen.

I meant they all share the civilian identity as their Earth 1 counterparts. Their stories may be different, which is my point Bertnelli and Wayne could still co-exist and are most likely not going to.

I'll believe it when I see it. I don't have time for blind hope in Big 2 Comics. Too many other good things happening this medium and in other hobbies to get too invested in stuff I don't like.

And with that, I'm pretty much out of this conversation. I've already aired my feelings on the situation and if that's not good enough then it's not good enough.

True, but at this point you probably need to add a few more "Crisis" "Extremes" and "Megas" to get the true title.

And it will be Aquaman accidentally eating sushi that was his best friend that destroys the current universe and reboots it.

And of course the new universe will be edgy and hip, and designed this time completely by Rob Liefeld, with lots of pouches, burn victim faces, and no feet. The Flash will have to run on his hands...

And Geoff Johns will become president of Warner Bros, and write a Vibe comic where he seeks to make Vibe cool and relevant. And Vibe will be leader of the Justice League, and personally kill Darkseid in hand to lame combat.

This. I'd say the majority of readers get mad when changes happen not because their favorite stories or characters (or versions thereof) were "erased," but that they wouldn't be able to read further stories about them.

yeah this is where i stand... i know that the old stories staring my favorite characters aren't erased from my collection or anything, but i'd love to be able to read new stories with say Stephanie Brown or Helena Bertinelli....
