Took 36 million worldwide already.

For a comparison to how it did compared to other Avengers movies, Iron Man 2 earned 11.7 million dollars in it's first week in the UK, and it's the most successful of all the Avengers family films so far, The Avengers is currently on 4.1 million after a Thursday.

This film could be a billion dollar film after all is said and done, and that would be fantastic.

I just want it to beat TDK. It's the better film (and I say this as a huge Nolan fan, he's probably my favourite filmmaker). Note, as well, that I'm not saying that TDK is bad, I don't think it is.

Hmmm, interesting. I wonder which one I like better. I may have to take the wife to the Avengers and then rewatch TDk...

I have a feeling this is gonna be one of the biggest things ever. I can't think of hardly anyone I know that isn't going to see it.

I actually do think it should have been released in America first (or better yet, simultaneously). A lot of people will download it and it might hurt sales. I still think it will be huge but why even take the risk?

Actually, it's more likely to be downloaded overseas, so releasing it in those markets first probably makes sense.
