I bet he'd go to AAA before he was that desperate. :P

Sucks about Rey, I was really looking forward to him returning. Why was he even tested if he was out?

Nearly 1:45 of good wrasslin' program. Not bad!

I didn't get a chance to watch it yet but I did catch the repeat of last week. And I have to say, I didn't think Crimson was too bad.

Day 118 (yesterday).

Continued the Steiners Comp.

Started off with Steiners vs. Keiji Muto/Hiroshi Hase. To be honest, this was boring. The best part came early on when Hase convinced a girl in the crowd to kiss him on the cheek. When Scott Steiner tried to get the same girl to do it, she denied him. Not to be outdone, Rick Steiner forced an old woman to kiss him.

Next was the Steiners vs. Hiroshi Hase/Kensuke Sasaki from the Collision in Korea event. Eric Bischoff, Mike Tenay, and someone else are on commentary. The match is decent, not as good as their first, and the commentary really detracts. And worst of all the finish of the match isn't seen thanks to an untimely cutaway.

Finally I watched the Steiners vs. Masahiro Chono/Hiroyoshi Tenzan. Now this was a good match. I started out at a slow paced, and continued to pick up as the match ultimately ending in this great epic battle. The finish was a little flimsy as Chono seemed to hurt his knee and the timed interference didn't go according to schedule, but that's about the only gripe.

Match of the Day goes to the Steiners vs. Masahiro Chono/Hiroyoshi Tenzan.

Day 119.

I finished off the Steiner comp today with one intriguing match. Thus far, this DVD had been hit or miss. So how would the last match rate?

It was the Steiners and Scott Norton vs. The Road Warriors - Hawk, Animal, and POWER WARRIOR~! The match played out as you might expect. The Steiners and the regular Warriors refused to sell for each other. Norton was a badass. Power Warrior ended up being the face-in-peril. In the end, both the Doomsday Device and the Steiner Bulldog were not enough to end the match. Instead, the finish was an avalance powerslam by Hawk giving the Road Warriors the win. It was a fun match.

Overall, the DVD is easily worth $1.50 to see Scott hit Vader with a frankensteiner. But outside of that? It's not the best comp I've watched so far.

Match of the Day goes to the Steiner Bros/Scott Norton vs. The Road Warriors, of course.

Random Smackdown thoughts:

Ryback needs to face credible WWE talent.
Zeke and Yoshi jobbed to....Titus O'Neil and Darren Young? :smt011
Considering the great word of mouth on Antonio Cesario, I would've preferred to have seen a longer match between him and Tyson Kidd.
Am I the only one that's not a fan of Kaitlyn's hair?

Agreed Ryback looks impressive but would look more impressive if he were beating legit guys like this.

Zeke is garbage, Yoshi is wasted.

I was severely disappointed in Cesaro's debut. I hated the way he had his thighs taped up like that just looked weird.

Kaitlyn is one fine woman but I too hate that hairstyle on any woman.

That sounds like a good match. :)

It also reminds me of something I read in Road Warrior: Animal's biography. The tag team of The Hellraisers (Hawk as Hawk Warrior and Kensuke Sasaki as Power Warrior for those of you who may not be familiar with the name) came out during a period when Animal was out for a months long period with an injury. Hawk apparently didn't tell Animal that he was forming the new tag team. Animal found out when a reporter, who was interviewing, him asked him what he thought of the Hellraisers. According to the book, Animal felt that Hawk had gone behind his back with his actions and that caused a rift between the two road Warriors. Apparently they didn't even speak to each other for close to a year because of it.

You might have already known this Sixx, but I'm not sure that everybody here does and I figured it would be an interesting factoid for those that didn't. :)

on Ryback..agreed I need to see if he can keep up with a superstar...squash matches sometimes hide bad wrestling

Zeke needs to be a bodyguard, just stand and not talk, Yoshi is very much wasted....not in a good way either

Cesaro's look was stupid, who thought of that?...though i liked the part where teddy started to cry..poor teddy..should lead to a good storyline if done right...when he returns to "power"

Kaitlyn is hot, her hair is not

Promoters for tonight's Extreme Reunion show found hardcore legend Sabu unresponsive in his hotel room when they went to pick him up for tonight's show. The staff at the hotel says Sabu appeared intoxicated earlier. One source close to Sabu claims he had an allergic reaction to a medication he is taking. We will have more details as they become available. You can read the full TMZ report at

http://www.tmz.com/2012/04/28/wrestling ... 5yQhNW3GSo

For his sake I hope it's an allergic reaction to meds and not a street meds reaction.

and:
- Justin Credible was removed from last night’s Extreme Reunion event in Philadelphia because of concern about his condition backstage. Credible was found earlier in the evening “slumped over, passed out asleep” in a chair. Credible was removed from the show and asked to leave the building. He returned later to beg the promoters to be put back on the show but they turned him down.

I hope both guys are OK in the end, but both stories have me concerned. :(

Apparently the show was a trainwreck. Lot of chants like "refund" "just retire" "fuck you Shane (Douglas)" and possibly the worst insults Douglas could get as a booker: "we want Bischoff" and "we want Russo".

Jerry Lynn and Crowbar were the only ones that got love.
