There is a pantheon of seven magical entities, collected of which equate to the powers of Shazam (I assume, anyway -- they all bare the familiar logo and thats the implication)

The writer of that says quite clearly he is assuming that the entities equate to the powers of Shazam. If anyone can't count, it's him :lol:

Makes more sense that they relate to the Seven Deadly Sins, which are/were imprisoned on the Rock of Eternity.

Oh great, I can see it now. The Seven Deadly sins are somehow the equal and opposite to the Emotional Spectrum.

True. It might be a stretch, but most of the sins have equals/opposites in the Emotional Spectrum.

Pride, Envy, Greed, Hatred, Laziness, Selfishness, and Injustice
Or: Pride, Envy, Greed, Anger, Sloth, Gluttony, and Lust

Rage-Hatred(Anger)
Greed-Greed (or maybe Gluttony, since wanting everything and wanting to consume everything aren't exactly the same)
Fear- Envy? (You could say that the opposite of fearing someone is wanting to be like them)
Will-Laziness (Sloth)
Hope - Selfishness (Gluttony?)
Love - Pride
Compassion - Injustice (Lust?)

Hope and Compassion may be the toughies with this one.
