JEAN GREY

Postby Starlord » Mon Apr 30, 2012 2:19 pm

She's coming back at the end of this event. I can feel it in my soul. This is it! For us Jean Grey fans this is the summer of her return.

Who agrees with me?

If it means Scott will loosen up then yes, please.

Jean Grey is like a comet. She comes back every ten years or so.

I actually don't want to see Scott loosen up at this point. His character has been evolving into interesting territories lately and I'm fascinated by it.

This event will give him the same slap down Iron Man got a couple years ago and it doesn't need Jean for that to happen.

See that's EXACTLY why I'm loving this story. After all these years he's heading down a dark path and he doesn't even realize it. I've always been a big Cyclops fan but these last couple of years have been even more fascinating with him for that same reason.

And right now Jean coming back is perfect not only for his character but because it would make an excellent triangle between him and that skank he's been boffing for the last couple of years.

I was going to reply with: "Same could be said about you." But I'd be afraid it wouldn't be seen as the good humored joshing that I meant it to be.

I don't see that there's necessarily a contradiction. For years, my favorite DC character was Barry Allen, but I recognized that his death, and his staying dead, was invaluable. Bringing him back didn't cause celebration from me.
