Buying a new grill

Postby GHERU » Mon Apr 30, 2012 12:19 pm

So, our cheep $100 grill we got for our wedding finally died a grand death, and I get to buy a new one this week in preperation for 'lilRuRu's 1 birthday (fuck, that went by fast  ) and I am looking for suggestions

I am to damn lazy, impatient, and do not have the time for a smoker or a charcoal grill. I understand the flavor benefits, but it ain't gonna happen.

Right now I am looking at the Char-Broil Tru-Infrared 3-Burner Commercial Gas Grill T-36D but I am somewhat scared by the new (to me) Infrared set up, and I a debating maybe going for an Infrared / traditional convection hybrid or pussing out and sticking with a regular gass grill

suggestions and comments are encouraged

thx,
RU

It takes longer to cook on a Weber - but it's worth it!!!

I have had a Weber Genesis full stainless steel propane grill for about 5 years now and have been entirely pleased with it.

It's a bit more expensive than the char-broils, but, it's stainless steel from top to bottom and if you take care of it correctly you can literally leave it in your will to little Ru.

The Weber's have caught my eye, its a matter of convincing WIFE about the extra cost

What sold me was the fact that I'd never have to spend the money again.
