Firstly it was a joke.

Secondly I live here, I know first hand how crappy the place is.

Mayor Bing is doing his best to clean it up, but the corruption of the place pervades every facet of authority, from the city council to the school board.

Compared to any other major city Detroit is a hole.

lol if it was murder capital of the world when you lived there then I can't imagine it was a very good place to live.

And making an observation that detroit is not a very nice place isn't whining, it's just basic observation.

Sorry that you disagree with my objective assessment of Detroit. Maybe when Mayor Bing is done with it they can start rebuilding and become a city it deserves to be.
