Why is the Archaia thing a big deal? I ordered it, but just for the Mouse Guard.

Mainly because Archaia's giving away a free hardcover book. The only reason I"m getting it is the Labyrinth story myself but its just the format they've chosen that's made it the "it" item for FCBD this year.

And supposedly if they were to do this again and make everyone pay for it would still cost people only $5 each. Its apparently more cost effective then anyone actually thought.

Also I did not get the Boom! issue either. .

though I did get this FCBD 2012 MOUSE GUARD LABYRINTH & MORE in Hard cover and it is really nice.

Did you order the BOOM book? Because the order originally had it as Dune and didn't change till Hypernauts till later. You may not have wanted it originally.

But sounds like you'll be hitting at least one store on Sat.

I'm paranoid enough over the idea that DCBS may short me the Archaia book (they're not on the "future shipment" for this week yet so that means they won't be added till after FCBD) that I'm going to try to get a copy on Sat.

And then if it turns out I'm still getting the one from DCBS, I'll probably try to flip this extra on Ebay as well.

MOC charges a minuscule fee. Like 5 cents for each FCBD book or something like that.
