No, because Batman TAS is still the best ever. The show comes off as an attempt to appeal to the tween crowd with the painful to watch angst tryi g to make it deeper than it is.

Oh look, all went according to the Light! It was like a bad Nicieza story where everything random just linked for the hell of it for a stupid payoff where another random maggufin outdoes the whole thing. Like when the team undid the Light's master plan that took months of preparation in barely a few hours. The series was average at best.

I used to be a dc zombie. Myself from 5 years ago would hate me. Avengers is right up there with jlu for me

Angst? Marvel is Angst. Hank Pym in the latest was nothing but angst.

Yet here the Skrull Kree war will be dealt with by season's end. Same quick fix up and look, based off of Secret Invasion and Civil War.

Face it, this thread is here because some zombies got their shorts in a knot. :lol:

It is about equal. But YJ is a bit better.

If A:EMH had YJ's art studio it would destroy all competition. The artwork is the only thing YJ has over A:EMH

No, one more thing. YJ is more original in story and not so much adapting comic stories. Both capture the spirit of the comics and characters.

Unlike some "ultimate" show out there.

It would be nice, but a style that invokes a classic Marvel artist please. Or maybe Ed McGuiness.

Young Justice was worse than the Hank Pym wifebeating dark spiral of depression: it was teen angst. Badly written teen angst and "grown ups just dont understand" spiele that came off like your typical soap opera scripting that just happened to star some known teen sidekicks.

It's fucking painful and only gets love here for starring known characters.

Maybe I'm being too harsh, but when I see it being talked about like one of the greatest shows ever I feel like throwing up. It's simply an average show at best.

I did mention Luthor and the others, just that they don't really play a big role in many of the episodes. Although they play a HUGE role in the overplot. But on Avengers you regularly get guys like Zemo, Ultron or Loki, who are way more recognizable that the Sportmaster or Atermis' sister whose name I can't remember.

And yes Hulk being on the team should count, it's about giving fans what they want. I want Hulk on the Avengers, I do that. Fans want the black haired wondergirl on YJ and they didn't get it so

The DC animated movies should ahve taught you that Ed McGuiness' style does not adapt well to animation.

It is one of the best comic adaption shows, but so is Avengers. Yet... where are you being harsh with it?

Both are flawed, both do great work with the two great comic universes. Thing is, YJ is so much better then the comics right now, so it stands out more this moment.

The best show will be the one that has hour long episodes and covers entire comic universes as an anthology. Marvel or DC.
