Are there people here who avoid it because it would be raping Alan Moore? Or are there those who buy it because it has some really good creators working on it?

Why are you buying it? Why aren't you buying it?

I'll buy the ones that look good, because fuck Alan Moore. If something is good, it's good. Regardless of whether it's raping his precious legacy or whatever.

If it sucks, it sucks and I won't get the rest. But for the most part, it's got some solid creators. Especially Darwyn Cooke.

I don't wanna buy all of it. I wasn't gonna buy any. But Amanda Conner's doing Silk Spectre. I really like her stuff.

I'm not buying it. I wasn't ever interested in Watchmen. It maybe to some Grant Morrison's greatest opus, but for me I was bored with it. I get it was trying to be adult and doing something more. It just wasn't my cup of tea of enjoyment.

Nothing truly excites me. This just screams to me of DC trying to throw anything it can to get my money and attention. Alas, this has done neither. I could care less of Conner, Hughes, or whomever is drawing this. I shake my head at the fact good writers are being wasted on such tripe when they could be writing better stories for characters within the DCU that need it.

1) I have no interest in the stories.
2) I rarely buy mini-series in "floppy" format. That being said, if any of these turn out to masterpieces, then I'll buy the trade.

I want to read these stories because of the creators, and regardless of Alan Moore's stance on it, he's going to get paid because of it. Which I can fully support even if he can't.
