I think in the interest of fairness, you should put your contact info on all the Pony articles too.

Sakie wrote:Punchy, you had me up until you suggest 3D. I will be seeing it in regular 2D and I am sure I will enjoy every moment of it. Other than that, great review. As hard as it is to believe, it made me want to see this movie more than I already do and that's saying something because Avengers already is my number 1 must see movie this year.
I'm sure it's good in 2D, but the 3D looked really good to me.

I'm probably going to see it in 3D at some point, probably the first time, just because I want to see in IMAX. But I hate converted-3D. It always darkens the picture, and the quality of it just isn't good.

I saw it in 2D and thought it looked fine. I'm not really crazy on 3D and try to avoid it for the most part.

The picture looked plenty bright to me. Are we sure this is converted?

I thought the 3D was very good as well.
I'll probably go in 2D soon, my housemates all want to go.
BTW, Punchy do you think the characters who left together at the end might be important?
Obviously Loki leaves with Thor, setting up Thor 2...
But I wonder if Tony leaving with Banner means Hulk will play a part in Iron Man 3?
Also... that last shot...

Maybe, but there's already so much going on in Iron Man 3 that I doubt they'd have room.
And by last shot do you mean the 'A'? Yeah, that was amazing. I'm sure someone will nitpick about them using the tower rather than the mansion, but that was just so cool.

I sort of called it when I saw the STARK earlier on, but I didn't expect it in this film.
I know what you mean about IM3 being busy, but they just seemed to make an obvious show of the two leaving together. Obviously it doesn't mean much, but I like to think that if Hulk doesn't get his own film (which seems unlikely) it makes sense they'd want him to show up somewhere.
I think Cap will deal with Bucky coming back, and as such I feel S.H.I.E.L.D might be present in that. Leaving Thor to deal with Loki.
Basicaly now there's this shared universe, I think they'll want to make the most of it.

If he is in it, then I expect it to be a small cameo.
Have they announced a Captain America 2? I'd like to see one, and have it go into more depth with the 'man out of time' thing, it was mainly played for laughs in this movie, but you could do a lot more with it.

Yeah I think so. Those three are definite, then we have the vague plans for GOTG and Dr. Strange.

His first name is agent! Was my favorite line. As well as the line about a bag of weed.

Avengers is exactly like an old school Avengers comic.
Fun, bright colors, larger than life characters, internal drama and kick ass action.
I love this movie
