You know if you were planning to reboot your whole line, would you not at least have the first 12 planned out?
Like green arrow this is already the third creative team.
What piss poor planning

Very true.

I have been saying since day one that I thought they were full of shit when they said they had been planning this out for a while. I think it was more or less a last ditch desperate move made in panic mode to boost their bottom line. It has worked money wise maybe not in quality, but DC is selling more books right now than they were thing same time last year. Not saying all the new books are good or that they are all bad, just that more people are buying them right now. As for the creative team changes, most of the books that have had the changes are because those books were particularly bad books, so they need to try and do something to make them better. Jurgens did good work on Superman over a decade ago, not so much anymore. Perez I thought was a poor choice for trying to relaunch a modern take on any character, the mans best days are far behind him. He is a legend but he is not suited for what they wanted him for. Lobdell is doing some insane shit in his books, some of it good, some of it bad, but none of it boring and that for me is a step in the right direction.

It's so obvious that DC is using the "Crash TV" method of management that it isn't funny.

It shouldn't be a real shock to anybody that Superman is on its third writer. Everyone knows Morrison is the one running the show over on Action. The Superman book is just along for the ride.

I meant for the general pool of creators on any one book. Not just Superman. And certainly not just Jurgens and Giffen.

Jurgens is what made me drop the book. Giffen as well because even thinking about his horrible art makes me hate his writing. Unless he's doing Lobo with Bisley.

Giffen and Bisley on Lobo will always be gold.

This is the new52, they don't have a history to rape. Also, just curious, have you read the books?

Couldn't disagree more.

Taking out his lack of speed and heath issues, I'd rather a sub-par Perez (or Neal Adams or John Byrne) than almost anyone else. He can DRAW. He knows anatomy, can tell a sequential story, and he can convey both movement and emotion in his characters.

Guys like Jim Lee or David Finch are 100% style without any real substance. They draw mini posters for their books that don't always make sense and go for the big dynamic pose rather than simply tell the story.

He definitely can draw, I was speaking more of his writing that he did on the relaunch of Superman.

i agree the titans have more of an edge than they had before, but in comparisons to the Titans since Johns left this title is by far an improvement what came before.

No not its not an improvement at all. Its far worse. Look at what they've done to Omen. She went from a babysitter/telepathic hero to a psychotic teen that enjoys torturing others. Beast Boy is now Red??? WTF?
Wonder Girl ................. sigh. Superboy is now nothing more then a weapon and a bad copy of what he once was. They ruined Solstice who was at least starting to be interesting. Bunker and Skitter are just annoying. Kid Flash and Robin are the only two Lobell didnt absolutely screw up but they still arent right.

Lobell is a writer ten years past his prime. He hasnt grown at all since his X-men days.

And after reading Teen Titans Annual I may give him the old stink palm if I ever meet him. Good God that was awful.

I agree that titles with the least changes are those doing the best. Sales back that up as well.
