I don't see it that way really.

Cap's plan kind of sucks so I really don't see Scott being such a villain.

I see the real argument being between Logan and Scott regarding Hope, and based on the last issue it seems Hope has already taken steps regarding how it should be handled i.e. Logan stabbing her in the chest of she starts to lose it.

Here's how I see it:

Cap is right about what should be done with Hope, but going about it wrongly.
Cyclops is wrong about what should be done and going about it wrongly.
Wolverine is right as a backup plan, but is also probably the most level-headed.

this. a million times. Can anyone explain to me how anyone could possibly think Cyclops' solution is reasonable, or why taking Hope off planet is some sort of terrible idea? I haven't seen either of those, only

So it seems that Cap disagrees with just about everybody.

I see the point of wanting to move her off planet, but, don't really see how it would do much, and it seems that the X-men or maybe the Fantastic Four are better equipped than the Avengers to handle that.

The Phoenix retains soe of the host personality and memory, if they move her off planet and she does get possessed what is going to stop her from coming back to earth?

No argument there, but, didn't we learn the last time that it's pretty much impossible to kill someone who manifests the Phoenix force, they have to off themselves.

I'm more interested in what Logan is going to do now than the race between Scott and Cap to find Hope.

thats like saying its pointless to put supervillains in jail because they eventually break out. Sure, the real answer is to kill the supervillains, but that is obviously a last resort. Scott's "lets wait to see if this this blows us up or not" is in no way reasonable.
