Saw the film a week ago and a little bit pissed at Marvel for adding this scene into the US version only.
Saying that I will be buying the DVD where I expect it will be included and YouTube will have it pretty soon.

I don't mind using nefarious internet methods when I feel a little cheated. Which I do.

The Avengers was fan-fucking tastic. i have no complaints, just praise. I loved every minute. What a superhero film should be. That this got made in the first place was awesome and amazing. The Hulk steals the show

 The only negative I can say is Whedon is too damn predictable in the fact he has to sacrifice someone to appease some god. That and the theater had a bad 3D copy and had to restart the movie from scratch. Other than that.. what doombug said.

yeah just read your post on facebook, how long did you guys have to wait for them to restart.

And seriously, I'm honestly thinking Jon was just looking for an argument claiming First Class was better....no way, not by a long shot. This was seriously the best comic book movie ever.

I still don't believe that the person that died is really dead.

While I agree that it does suck, you didn't miss anything important. I am not saying that it wasn't awesome, just not crucial to the plot.

Agreed. Isn't that character supposed to be featured front and center in an upcoming solo Nick Fury film?

Just a fantastically fun movie to watch in so many ways. Giddyness is the only way to describe my feelings seeing things like the Helicarrier take flight and Thor & Hulk going at it.

I also agree that Hulk stole the show. By far the best Hulk has been handled to date, and I think Ruffalo is the best Banner of them all. I feel like he really conveyed the character's struggle, apprehension and regret with his other side very well.

Guess I'll see if it makes sense later this week.

here it is for any one that left the theater early, but don't watch till you have seen the movie or it won't make sense.

For about another ten minutes to get everyone into the new room and then announce they where showing it in the theater next door since it was smaller than the previous room. Then they restarted at first to all the coming attractions which the audience booed to fast forwarding all the way to half into Brave's trailer. So we saw the beginning like twice. :P

My friends and I joked about that character biting it before the movie started we were like. "It's a Joss Whedon film. The most beloved characters always must be sacrificed to satisfy whatever god the Whedon worships." Sure enough... But I dunno part of me thinks they're dead, on the other hand... Using Coulson's Cap trading cards and coating them with "blood" either shows how much a bastard this Fury to use his sacrifice even more. Or.. Coulson will become this universe's Vision. The fact Stark walked out on them all when Fury told them Coulson was dead could easily be shown in Iron Man 3's extra ending that he copied Coulson's brain patterns and sent them to Pym. Also wasn't Coulson still in the cast for Iron Man 3? Still him blasting Loki with the Destroyer gun was my second fav moment of the film. First being Hulk smashing Loki around like a rag doll. The LOOK Hiddleston has afterword just sold that scene perfectly. Best villain pissed in his pants moment EVER.
