Sure you do. I got an app that's a frontend for rsync so that I can easily incrementally copy stuff from my other PCs. I got an app that puts Facebook in my status bar so I get a notification if I get icons. I got an app for monitoring the CPU and temperature of the computer. There's lots of apps to customize a laptop.

And then there's full fledged programs, which are also apps. Like photoshop.

You don't need any of that, or at least I don't with mine. If I want to check facebook... I just go on the internet.

As such, I can't really recommend any apps because you don't need them, apart from maybe a word processor.

Anyway, I don't NEED anything. I don't NEED this computer in the first place. But I like gadgets and computers, and I like tweaking them out. So, to others who like to do that, what are your favorite mac apps and programs?
