I'm an extremely hard gainer, been working out for a while now. My peak has been 160 for about a year plus. I've always been able to reach 160 then go lower and go back and forth. Being an ectomorph trying to get bigger is insanely annoying and people just think gaining weight is so simple, but it's really not for someone like me. But I've been working out more intensely and adding more protein as I can and I FINALLY reached 161! Jeez fuckin louise!

That sounds like a lot of work. Why didn't you just use the Jude method - sit on your ass all day and eat Chocodiles and drink soda?

I haven't really eaten junk food like that for years, same with soda.

Do you do a lot of cardio?

I am a hard gainer myself, and like many others it's been tough for me to not think that more is better. I find that when I do less cardio (like none), take at least 3 rest days a week and do less reps/heavier weight is when I gain mass the best.

I've cut down my cardio tremendously since the summer. It's starting to feel rare that I do much cardio anymore.
