Tom DeFalco is writing Superman too? I thought it would just be Lobdell.

I enjoyed it a lot for it old school superhero action but it was not the best in my book. Glad you loved it though.

Not really. In the back of the issue there are some sketches and a few passages about the ideas behind this "event." When it comes to the Ravagers it basically says that Harvest wants to control the next generation of metahumans. Other than that, all we know is that at one point in time Harvest may have been human, he may be from the future or at least has enough knowledge of it to know about the Legion of Superheroes, and that he has some type of nefarious plan. We really don't have any other knowledge about what the Ravagers purpose is...except to look like rejects from bad mid to late 90's comics.

Which is god damned ironic, because DC seemingly had so many good comics coming out during this era. You'd think they'd learn something from those archives and channel it into this relaunch.

Too bad it's not working out that way. I'll remember to read this comic during Free Comic Book Day, but I'm already dreading it.

Beast Boy is red.

Solstice had her original power set before being experimented on and changed by Harvest.

Kid Flash is from the future but doesn't remember it. Apparently, he was some kind of criminal or at least did some bad things.
However, Liefeld is an enigma wrapped in a pouch-filled, muscular, footless conundrum.

But that would require Dan and the Gang respecting anything created between 1985 and 2003.
And they can't have THAT happen.

I finally read this, and it was ... well, you guys pretty much summed up why it was terrible, so I don't have much to add. It's only four parts (five if you count Ravagers #1, which DC does not for some odd reason), so I'll still stick it through, but goddamn.

Silly Zechs, you know that being in a cross media project of the Big 2 doesn't guaratee minorites protection from character derailment, limbo and death. Just ask John Stewart who isn't in limbo or dead, but I almost wonder whether he should be or not.

And the Teen Titans Annual was so damn bad... scratch that.... it wasn't just bad, but it was boring at the same time. Everything about that book was so damn amateurish from the art to the costume design, to the dialogue, to the panel structure (those 2 splash pages felt fucking recycled) to the plot progression, there was nothing about this comic that felt professional in the slightest.

DC should be ashamed that it charged 5 dollars for this tripe. I literally wanted to cry as I read this in the store.... it was that bad.
