He unfortunately lost his battle with cancer. 48 years old. At least we got one last great album from him before passing away. :-(

The Beasties have been my favorite band since I was 18, way back in late 80's.... since Pauls Boutique...

I heard this news as I came out of Avengers... I went from pure glee and a pure geek gasm, to crying as I drove home...

I have had a lot of celbrities that I loved die... this is the first one that made me cry...

MCA was my favorite member of my favorite band... and I don't know that music, especially hip hop, will ever sound the same...
