By the way, does nobody see that Cyclops is become a zealot in regards to his "messiah"? Why exactly should the rest of the earth risk their lives for the messiah of mutants?

Based on what Cable is saying it seems she's not just the mutant messiah.

I gotta give Marvel credit for coming up with an event where people can actually be passionate on both sides. Unlike Civil War, which was pretty much "Captain America rules, Iron Man is a dick."

In this event both Cyke and Cap could be considering awesome or a dick, just depending on your own take on things.

(Schism did a decent job of that too... but that was a localized event rather than a line-wide one.)

But if Cyclops is right, then that means that he was trying to prevent the end of the world as shown in Cable's future. Because unlike Captain America and the Avengers, Scott absolutely knows that the world will end if Hope fails. So, who is really taking the bigger risk? The guy who has seen the future and knows that the world will end if Hope fails or the guys who think the world is going to end if they don't take Hope into custody to take her off world?
