Part of me would love for the next movie to introduce Captain Mar-Vell or Silver Surfer.

Dude I never thought of that before but I could damn sure see The Rock pulling off Luke Cage/Power Man!

When I have thought about Rock playing in comic based movies it's always been Namor or Black Adam that popped to mind first but I could definitely see him as Luke Cage. He would really be able to deliver the lines that Cage is famous for really well, and he absolutely looks the part size wise, I mean he looks like such a bad ass and it always comes across on screen.

Yes, you're right. And the best thing is, we don't need one. Hopefully the producers recognize that just because she was awesome in this movies doesn't mean there needs to be a Black Widow movie.

I think if they make a SHIELD movie, that any need to do back story or origin type stuff with Black Widow could be handled in that movie.

I heard a rumor that they are bringing in Moondragon and they've asked Roseanne to play the part. :smt102

Depends.

Are we talking a silly, goofy, action comedy, possibly for kids? Then sure, Rocky could pull it off.

Are we talking an actual serious Luke Cage movie? A street level, urban hero? If so, I don't think I can see it.

Basically, and I say this as someone who ENJOYS the Rock.... unless the film you're talking about is him wearing the yellow silk shirt and tiara, while everyone around him looks at him and says "WTF?", ala the Brady Bunch films.... then no. I don't like Rock for Cage.

But if we ARE talking about an all-ages comedy based entirely around the phrase "Sweet Christmas!".... then sure, bring on Mr. Pec-Pop-Of-Love.

I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it a hundred more. LL Cool J is the only choice for Luke Cage, IMO.

Oh, I'm not saying they're BAD.

They might be cinematic masterpieces, for all I know.

But, I've seen nothing in any trailer for any of them that makes ME want to see them. No crime not to be interested. :smt102

Fast Five was good.

The Rock is great when it comes to action movies.

I could see him as Luke Cage.

No Luke Cage please. He's a shitty character.
