Was it just me, or did Lightle's art in #8 look more like it was drawn by Wendy Pini?

That looks sweet. It really did suck that the Legion never had a true much of a real smackdown fight with Mondru. He always hid behind aliases or used surrogates like the Khunds in Earthwar. Or the Legion was running away from him.

Well, Darkseid beat the hell out of Mordru in the Great Darkness saga. Maybe Mordru is not that good in a fight.

Well that is Darkseid you're talking about there. And I would expect Mordru wouldn't have been up to full speed soon after being freed.

Yes, that's a good point.

Although I've seen dozens of writers treating Darkseid like he could be defeated by every superhero in the book. That just puts me in a bad mood, and that's not the way Darkseid was portrayed when Kirby originally created him.

That's one of the reasons why I would have preferred that the whole Fourth World concept had been shipped off to its own little universe after Final Crisis, like it seemed like was happening at the time. Then Johns had to go and f**k things up using Darkseid in Justice League right out of the box.

At HeroesCon, Hickman showed interest in tackling The Legion of Super-Heroes. DC better be paying attention.

Sadly, DC probably finds it cheaper to lose money of Legion by letting Levitz write it instead of just paying him to go away like any reasonable company does to get rid of an ex-President.

Letivz has really tarnished the Legion ring as of late.

There's only one way to get a ring dirty... and it involves some really nasty stuff.

Somebody calling himself @JanArrah on Twitter said he wanted Gail Simone to do an Inferior Five series. I retweeted that I wanted to see Gail do a Fatal Five series instead. Would definitely be interesting,
