Thanks for the report, I saw two movies only in 3D and I didn't think it enhanced either of them and in fact made some of the images muddy. But one was definitely just a conversion job (Star Wars). Both those times were at the behest of the people I saw them with, and I didn't really feel like I got much out of the 3D angle. This time, I figure I could see it both ways if I want to but I may as well see it in 2D first because I am inclined to. Also I don't know the full group of people going to see it in 3D later today, so I don't really feel like I have to go to make any one person happy.

I saw it in 2D, and it looked great.

I hope this convinces Disney to put out some films from lower-tier characters.

If Renner wasn't already doing the Bourne series, I think it would have been cool to do the secret agent angle.

The group I went with wanted to see it in 3D, despite me not liking 3D I didn't want to be the wet blanket... it was okay. The action scenes in 3D were good anything else was very dark because of the glasses. I will go see it again but in 2D

I am not crazy about 3D movies but I thought it looked pretty good(didn't noticed or mind any dark parts at all) in 3D,however I went to the RealD format one, not the IMAX one.

BTW:The Amazing Spiderman,Prometheus and DK trailers looked pretty sweet in 3D.

I don't think it was actually any more expensive, I go to a weird theater though. It might've been $8? Maybe less than that, now that I think about it. I've got like 6 free passes to a movie theater showing Avengers that just got remodeled and serves beer though, I wonder if they'll still honor them. Usually I just take my own into the weird theater.

You would like it. Check out the '70s psychedelic snack bar. Everything is spinning around and flashing. It's like Brion Gysin & William S Burroughs designed a theater:

Most movie effects are kind of a letdown after wandering the empty hallways:

Why, what the hell do movies cost these days, anyway? I can't remember ever paying more than $8.

I caught the early matinee, only spent 5 bucks.

I think they could have charged me 15 dollars and I still would have left with a smile on my face and no regrets. Best "summer blockbuster" movie I've ever seen. Maybe best comic movie. We'll have to see how it holds up with time.
