My question is and I was discussing this with my friends after the movie. Who could voice.. Thanos? Michael Clark Duncan came to mind, but who else?

who and what Thanos was to the people around them? I mean talk about geek moment, they all wanted to know.

Yes, and I must have done a piss-poor job of explaining it, because no one seemed that overwhelmed.

On a side-note, I saw this at the drive-in, and they started announcing the winners of the raffle on the loud speaker, so I couldn't hear any of the conversation with said spoiler!

Yeah as soon as me and my wife saw Thanos she turned to me and said Infinity Gauntlet!

One of my other friends that is a comics novice at best, then turned and asked me, "Who is that?" so I was caught in the middle of two opposite reactions!

Most people that were in the theater with us during the midnight showing knew who Thanos is, when we saw the movie for the second time on Saturday afternoon, their were more people that didn't know than did.

Thanos will the Thor villain, the cube is in Asgard, as is Loki who failed him, and we saw the Guantlet

And yeah, my wife asked who that was. She thought it was Abomination from Hulk 2 and asked how he got there..
