Are mawds not capable of asking straight questions? What is the purpose of trying to fool people into answering one question with a thread title when in fact they will be giving the opposite in the poll? It is this kind of misleading, unclear communication which is driving the site to ruin.

You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

It's been one minute since I asked the above questions, and I have not recieved a response. What are the mawds trying to hide?

Make a post questioning the legitimacy of the mawds and their puppet polls, get mocked for your career sensibilities. Typical.

Only worthwhile film he's had was the first Terminator, for 3 reasons,

1 it had the nice cheesy low budget look and feel of 80's scifi without any of the big f/x and cgi that the later ones had
2 Arnold naked
3 he killed Bill Paxton seconds after he was on camera

No. Terminator 2, The Abyss and True Lies are full of win.

I would be happy if he'd just shut the fuck and make movies however.

I have no problem with James Cameron.

Now if George Lucas had passed away around 1990...

It's a formula because he created it. It's not really his fault that people have aped the 'colonial marine' thing over and over since.

I'd really like to know what formula he was following when he made Aliens.

I'm a bit of a Cameron fan, with The Terminator and Aliens being my favorites among the movies that he he directed. I even kinda like Avatar. However, I would rather eat dogshit than watch Titanic.

It's a story about alien tree hugging hippies. Avatar is horribly cliched.

I thought it was one of Kevin Costner's best movies.

Avatar is a well-crafted movie from a technical standpoint. The visuals are amazing and the plot is very well paced.

The problem is that the story is horribly cliche and the characters might as well be cardboard cutouts. It's a brilliantly executed film with no heart or soul.
