It was me and about two other people when I saw it. Had to explain it to my son. I think it means we're watching Point Break this week...damn it.

One of the things that made that scene so great was Hiddleston's selling it. Everyone gets how great Downey Jr. was, and how great Ruffalo was, or that Evans and Hemsworth were pretty much perfect in their roles. but Hiddleston IMO made Thor, and really made this one too, (as far as acting goes). If he had sucked, nothing any of the others could have done would have saved it.

It was just a cast without too many big names that just hit it out of the park. And with material from someone who understood what people wanted to see.

Agreed. The villain is what sells a story like this, and Hiddleston was a fantastic Loki both here and in Thor.

I agree. That's why I'll be watching it again.
But I think hulk punching thor was pretty funny
