Oh look, guns. Now she's cool.

Having guns is better than not having guns. Look at the preview for Hawkeye #1. Even he know how stupid he is for running around with the Avengers with a "stick and a string from the Paleolithic era."

On this Earth 2, Hawkgirl is slated to take over the detective role since their Batman is dead. They don't have the meta-villain population yet as on Earth 1/whatever. So for now I think it makes sense for a "detective" to carry guns.

i think it kind of makes sense for her to have a projectile weapon.. why would someone who has wings wanna fly down and try to fight in closed quarters.. She could stay in the air and use the guns, and she could do much more
