The rules: You're on an island for one year. You get one comic (can be issue, arc or GN). What is it?

Any Marvel work by Jonathan Hickman. It would take me a year to figure out exactly what is going on in that incomprehensible mess.

Since you said arc, I'm going to cheat just a little.

But after seriously spending a lot of time thinking about this question, I honestly think my favorite material from this industry is Marvel's space material that began with Keith Giffen's Drax miniseries and Thanos series in 2003, maybe, and ended, for all intents and purposes, with Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning's Thanos Imperative a year or so ago.

I realize that includes quite a few books/arcs, like Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy and War of Kings, etc. But all of those things are connected, and all together, I think it's the best stuff I've ever read.

I'm gonna cheat like ESF and say the two New Teen Titans omnibii (or whatever DC calls them) that covers that whole W/P run through Judas Contract.

If I couldn't have that, the full run of Starman omnibii.

Going with omnibus's or trades is cheating imo so...

Fantastic Four #51 - it's just a perfect comic worth rereading time and time again.
