I am loving the X-books right now, but they have sort of written themselves into a corner, and a reboot wouldn't be out of the question.
I don't know think they'd ever do a hard reboot, but some sort of soft reboot wouldn't shock me. Just clean up the continuity ever so slightly.
(Hopefully eliminate Hope Summers from the timeline...)

I would give up on the comic book internets, but later this Fall looks to be just too much fun with the Marvel zeroes and reboot coming.

Agree, this is going to be Marvel's year for the reboot. . or partial reboot since I see Avengers and X-Men getting the switch flipped. (unless your going to call 100% bullshit on me again.

, joke)

I kinda smell some sorta restart/reboot whatever you wanna call it coming as well. Maybe something to make the comicverse more like the movieverse? With all thats going on with the Avengers and the X-Men, Ultimate Spidey and normal Spidey meeting up, I think something big is gonna happen by summers end that really does change Marvel comics drastically.

He's been off the throne for a very long time now. He hasnt sat on it since Chuck Austen worked for Marvel.

Well, it probably sounded worse than I intended but we are generally quite candid in RG threads.
Think of it this way, Punchy's review group picked all mainstream books and almost nobody participated then.

Oh, I was not disputing the books choices at all as I like the indi aspect.

As much as I hate retcon crap, I hope that's what this is and not a reboot. I hate those even more.

You might mean abdicated, because I doubt he tried to steal the throne.
