People choosing omnibus's are just being greedy to take as many issues as possible at once. :-D

If it's under the "Comics & Graphic Novels" section of Amazon, or a book store.. it counts!

Also.. if I'm going to be on an island for a year, you're damn right I'll be greedy with the one thing I can bring. :D

Exactly! Screw the single issue thing.

That said: Detective Comics #526

So what's my desert island album? Oh, I know I'll select the Rolling Stones box set -- which includes all 14 studio albums from Sticky Fingers to A Bigger Bang.

Because when someone asks me about my desert island album, they aren't asking me about my most-loved album; they are asking me about 14 albums from one of my favorite bands. Right?

After some thinking, my desert island comic would be anything printed on the sail of something about 4'x6' that floats and has a gassed up outboard motor attached to it.

But preferably something dirty.

C'mon Outhouse - grow a pair and pick a single issue.

Until the battery dies.

I'll stick with a floppy that only requires the sun to come up to be able to be read.

Going strictly single issue: X-Factor #87

Image

Going TPB: Either Crisis on Infinite Earths or The Return of Barry Allen

Going with a longer run/omnibus: 52 or maybe Essential MTIO

I was thinking of bringing along Avengers Disassembled because I'd need something to start the fire with.

If they specify it in the OP, sure.

There are a few I'd have to think about.

Batman Year One, Dark Knight Returns or Kingdom Come.

I guess it would depend on which I packed before I got stranded.
