Tee-Roy'd wrote:I was thinking last night about characters we have yet to see from season one in season two and most of them are all related in some key way: Roy Harper.

If I remember correctly we have not seen Green Arrow, Black Canary, Artemis, Flash (Wally) or Red Arrow (Roy Clone) as of yet on season two. So what if all these guys are off on their on special mission still searching for the real Roy and we are gonna get some episodes that just totally focus on them and that particular storyline?? I think that would be pretty awesome myself!

I mean Green Arrow would have all the reason to want to go and find Roy because he was abducted right after he became his first sidekick Speedy. Black Canary being GA's lady would most likely go off on the mission as well. Red Arrow definitely has reason to want to find Roy, since he is his clone! Artemis obviously would be going because of her connection to Green Arrow and Red Arrow. Then Flash (Wally) being Artemis's boyfriend would be going with her on the mission of course!

I could be totally wrong about all this but it makes sense to me.

That's a pretty cool theory.

yeah I was disappointed in this episode.

Overall season 2 has been a let down, I'm hating this time jump for the most part.

3 episodes in and no Wally, not Artemis..... Instead we get more Lagoon boy.

and Aqualad's turn? Oh my that's cheap.

One of the best characters from season 1, the most rational member of the team, turns evil because of some incident we didn't see. Obviously she went out like a hero and he's acting like a punk because the writers need him to.

I mean I'd be fine with it, but show us don't tell us. Time jumps work well when they are used in a effort to bypass uninteresting storylines (like Wally West goes on vacation for three months with his family or something), not to bypass interesting stuff like Tula joining the team and then dying.

Amazing episode of Green Lantern today! Seeing the rise of Saint Walkeris great, it is being so well done! Looks like we will be back in normal space next week and back on Oa as thats right where the Red Lanterns are going with a quickness! I really love this show!

Vibe short was well what you would expect from a Vibe short, very silly borderline stupid but cheesy enough to not be horrible.

Young was really good as usual. Was more interested in the stuff with Roy, who actually looked like a junkie in this episode, which was a nice nod to the comics. Finally got to at least see Wally, even if he wasn't in his Kid Flash/Flash costume. Artemis sighting as well!! So thats everyone now from the first season accounted for. I guess Wally and Artemis just stopped being heroes for some reason. Jade and Roy are married and had Lian, thats just awesome! Superboy and Blue Beetle fighting the "Apple Laxative" was pretty cool but not as interesting as the Roy parts of the show. I am really intrigued by Sports Masters shadowy partner, it obviously has to be someone from Apokolips but I can't figure out who yet.

Great Saturday morning of cartoons, glad I got to watch them now instead of having to wait until I got home from work!

It isn't just that. That was part of the reason Aqualad turned. The other is the fact Aquaman withheld the fact Black Manta was his pop.

I was waiting this whole episode to see just how much of Roy's comic book continuity they would apply to the show. Its interesting that they basically substituted his drug addiction with his unyielding quest to search for the real Roy. He has let this search consume every corner of his life.

What bothers me is the fact that Roy is conducting this search on his own. We got the idea that the League helped for awhile...but how are we supposed to believe that with their near infinite resources, that they couldn't find something? I mean, its been five years!

Finally got to at least see Wally, even if he wasn't in his Kid Flash/Flash costume. Artemis sighting as well!! So thats everyone now from the first season accounted for. I guess Wally and Artemis just stopped being heroes for some reason.

Not only did they stop being heroes, they moved in together! I wonder if Young Justice will simply replace Linda Park with Atremis. As much as I liked Linda, I have to admit that I wouldn't hate this idea. That being said, I can't wait to see these two back in action soon.

Jade and Roy are married and had Lian, thats just awesome!

Agreed! However, its just another mind boggling example of how easy it is for this show to continue to reinvent the DC universe for both newer and older fans alike. How can Young Justice do this so effortlessly each week, when the DCnU is struggling so badly?

I am really intrigued by Sports Masters shadowy partner, it obviously has to be someone from Apokolips but I can't figure out who yet.

I suspect that with the similar use of powers as Blue Beetle, the shadowy partner will be revealed to be Black Beetle.

Reason #1,302,498 Why Nu Beetle Sucks: "Freshman doesn't do the homework!!" *facepalm*

You're on a SUPERHERO TEAM. Their previous villains and threats tend to return. You, as a member of the team, HAVE to know these adversaries' abilities and usual tactics.

Somebody get the bug spray, so we can eliminate this vermin.

Ironically, we also got a short from a USEFUL Latino hero today. He's got impressive, demonstrable skills (his dancing), super-abilities of his own instead of relying on a scarab, and he's SMART enough to figure out what he's fighting and thus, take PROPER action. And apparently, he beat AMAZO on his own!! Good going, Vibe!

AND -- especially ironic given his misunderstood reputation -- Vibe didn't have to keep spouting random Spanglish in order to sell the fact that he's of that race... "ESE".

Scarab: "I warned you that tactic would be ineffective."

Nu Beetle: "Por favor, I'm trying to--"

*Appelaxian husk squashes him/them*

Me: "THANK YOU."

Paco Ramone is not -- *channels Lida and Melina from Mad TV* -- "Stoopid" like Jaime. :P

This show is still a hundred times better than New 52 DC. I will give it that.

Last episode of YJ just continues the trend of this season irritating me to no end. If this was an experiment to see how quickly they could lose all the fans and good will they built from season 1, then I'd say about 3 episodes.
