ABC has passed on the
Alias adaptation going to series.
During a conference call ABC President, Paul Lee revealed the show wouldn't be getting a full series order. The show was to be a full on adaptation of
Alias set in the Marvel movie universe with appearances from Ms. Marvel and Luke Cage.
Lee however, still didn't rule out the possibility of a live action Hulk series, which is still in development for sometime in 2013, and other Marvel projects which he couldn't reveal.

At this point, it would be really weird to have a Hulk TV series with yet another actor playing Bruce Banner.

I would have watched a Jessica Jones TV series but it wouldn't be the same if there was no swearing.

Not really surprised.
It doesn't seem like the Powers show on FX is making much progress either. It has lost half it's cast (if not all) and had to go back to get reworked after FX didn't like something about the pilot.

Never actually expected this to reach production, let alone the airwaves.

it would be a better show on cable, anyway
However, Liefeld is an enigma wrapped in a pouch-filled, muscular, footless conundrum.

Kind of a bummer.
Alias is the series that got my wife into "superhero" comics... I know she was looking forward to this.

Maybe its because it had a stupid fucking name. Oh well Alias was a good series. I was hoping it would work.
