Not yet, but I wouldn't be shocked if he did now that he's got some free time.

Well, it would be nice to see Giffen writing and drawing the Legion again.

That's completely debatable, of course. Especially after 5YG.

In this case, debate is a good thing, since last time I checked everyone here agreed on the fact that Levitz hasn't done a good job (that lack of debate is quite revealing, at least with Giffen we could have a discussion about him).

What I don't need from Giffen being back is a return to more darker storylines and WTF moments like what happened when he came back in '88. Mind you, I don't want to see JLI-type stories, either. Just good storytelling that makes sense, and art that makes you want to cry remembering the good old days (and not in the good way of crying tears of joy, either).

Not too dark, not too light. Got it. Either way, I think Giffen would be an improvement.
Art wise he should go back to his Great Darkness Saga style, that'd be great.

I could tolerate his mock-Mark Buckingham art in the Annual he did last year, but only because I read fables.

I've enjoyed Levitz on Legion. It hits alot of the geek buttons I have.

If you really want a new writer, Abnett and Lanning. They did such a damn good job on Legion

They did such a good job that they were canned for Mark Waid and the Threeboot.

Too bad The artwork worked since it took place mostly on Orando, so Giffen's faux-Fablesesque take was reasonable. I don't know how it would work with regular SF trappings.

Abnett and Lanning were such a great creative team. But I don't think they'd want to come back.

Especially since they're doing the Hypernaturals now.

Yeah it was interesting enough for me to want to check out the first issue, I'll say that. More interesting than Legion has been since the new series started.
