Like any good geek I'm ready to shoot something down before I see it, but I think I'll at least wait until I see some trailers and hear a little more buzz about it. Not a bad article though.

I think the majority will put it up against the recent fare like Spidey and Bats. I doubt it will be compared to the Avengers.

I think more people know Superman via Smallville then the old Chris Reeves film or the comics.

INteresting. Possibly. I doubt it, but we'll see. My doubt comes from the small budget look of Smallville. I just think that this will be so vastly different being a feature film and with a guy like Snyder and his visual style.

We really don’t know anything about it so I’d say it’s a little early to say it will be failure.

One bad movie (Sucker Punch) doesn’t outweigh the four good ones you mentioned.

I don’t get why people seem to crap on CGI, it’s the reason they can finally make these movies. :smt102

Cause it’s Snyder I expecting CGI out the ass when Superman and Zod fight with tons of damage done to Metropolis and that’s why I’m looking forward to it.

My biggest problem with Snyder is the stupid 'slow-motion/fast motion' thing in every single fight scene. It's starting to throw me out of the film. It was really annoying in Watchmen, for example. Especially during the Comedian fight at the start.

I think the movie might be OK, though. Henry Cavill looks spot on, costume notwithstanding.
