Same here. Made my dad watch it too. He was like "That's not my Trek so I'm really not interested." He only ever saw the Kirk movies (including Generations).

The rest of Trek was MINE, MINE MINE!

I'll definitely be at that anniversary panel. Same with Shatner's panel.
