It won't be Wally. They are going to be walking on eggshells when/if they bring him back. His fans are already worked up enough, if you change him too much you will just be dumping gasoline onto the fire.

i'm convinced it'll be Hawkgirl... the last two "big" gay characters at DC (not counting Bunker which no one should) have been Batwoman and Renee Montoya... they have a track record of lesbians not gay guys..

Hawkgirl isn't a bad guess and as Chap has pointed out, it would make sense why they separated the Hawks...but don't forget about all of the JSA members that still have to debut in Earth 2. We have only just seen glimpses of Alan Scott and Al Pratt so far. I am intentionally excluding Jay Garrick simply because he is the most unlikely due to what we know about him so far.

Seriously though, I'd buy that for a dollar. A gay Flash or a gay sidekick seems like weak pandering by comparison.

Nah, it's supposed to be a character NEWLY characterized as gay.

Dan made it clear that portraying the "Harold" character as gay was part of the intended insult. It's interesting that few people -- particularly no gay people or prominent crusaders like Dan's pal Judd Winick -- picked up on this Unfortunate Implication and said anything against it...

Maybe, it could be the Earth-2 Dick. It'd be on the same level as Marvel announcing Spider-Man was going to die, but it tuned out to be the Ultimate Universe one. And you'd get Dick in 2 flavors. :smt005
