Very well spilling out of the talk of Bubba's "If You Could Erase One Story Arc" thread. I will ask the question now and let this poll be the judge.

During his era numerous horrible stories or choices happened on his watch. So which one was the worst? I think it's safe to say I named the nastiest ones. When I mention one character I mean the shit that happened to said character during the Didio Era.

And of course I've left Herald an option. Because to give him the ability to vote on just one is just too much. I just want to say the original list of crimes was over 40. And that was just off the top of my head.

So. I just picked five things, and you know what?

When the death of a child (in a miniseries that CLEARLY was being written on the fly), a savage death by torture and a retconned rape doesn't even make MY TOP FIVE because I honestly took into consideration story execution, what in the hell have you done for the last decade, DC? Seriously. What in the hell have you done?

Good Lord. That list isn't even complete -- the Green Arrow/Black Canary Wedding Special and the Titans East Special aren't even on this list, and those were EASILY, and I mean EASILY, two of the single-worst issues published by DC in the last decade, and those were directional changes that Dan DiDio HAD to approve. I'll give him a pass for maybe not seeing every page because he wasn't the book editor, but Holy Hell, you either gotta look at that shit before it gets out the door OR hold somebody accountable after you realize how effed up those were!

I think he's eternally screwed up the Marvel Family. He should just sell them to Marvel Comics and be done with it.

I also think Wally West is too good a character to just sweep aside. What a waste.

All Star Batman & Robin was just a travesty. Given, a pretty travesty, but a travesty nonetheless.

Heroes can die, but little kids? Lian didn't deserve that. Especially since she's the future Red Arrow.

The creators Didio has pissed off are the ones who made DC what it is before he came along. He bit the hands that fed DC.

Lastly, I enjoyed Identity Crisis. Great story. Except for the rape.
