I love those Gruenwald Captain America stories where he was riding across the US with D-Man and Nomad, fighting the Serpent Society. So I find it great to read these characters touched upon and in such a good story, too. The D-Man reveal was great and I loved seeing Diamondback again, even if she's comatose.

I had a crush on Diamondback when I was a teenager. Thought Cap was stupid for not wanting to fool around with her while they were on a plane.

i read this in trade, whats the story with this new scourge? dos he wear the classic outfit or the one from tbolts? whats his MO?

Closer to the outfit Nuke and Paladin wore in Parker's TBolts and DnA's Villains for Hire.

Basically Gyrich has been brainwashed by Hydra into going nuts and he enlisted D-Man as the new Scourge to kill villains in witness protection because "the system is broken."
