First Look at Michonne in The Walking Dead TV Series

Here she is in all of her kitana wielding glory!

Courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, here's the first official shot of Danai Gurira as Michonne.

EW also mentions that the character will be similar to her comic book counterpart and that Kirkman is positively giddy about the prison in which most of Season 3 will be taking place.

Agreed. Though I did hear that Kirman was pushing that she become Asian and they change her name to Kissey Me Longtime. So I guess maybe we should be happy with what we got. :smt102
