IMO, because marriage should be about you and your partner, and while I think there is temptation here to get involved in the media attention, I think it could be damaging to make that special day into something that's not about you, but is about a stunt or a message or, of all things, a comic book.

It would be different if the couple had planned this in advance, but responding to what is basically a casting call for Midtown's commercial with a month's notice seems like a poor decision. IMO, YMMV, of course.
