I needed a file from her, which I went to her office to retrieve. I was then called to a meeting in another office, leaving the file on my desk because I needed it when I got back. During the meeting, which lasted two hours, she emailed me five times asking fur the file to be returned. I told her that I was in a meeting each response, just go to my office and get the file.

When I got back to my office, the file was still there so I returned it too her. She then told me she got in trouble by a lawyer who wanted her to do work with the same file. I told her she should've retrieved the file from my desk lie I told her to do because I wasn't able to return it.

She then said she shouldnt have had to do that.

I said "why, because you are lazy?"

Then her comment happened.

She lefted in a huff

Went to the kitchen and cried.

Everyone asked what happened, she said whatever she said and now I'm the office bully/racist.

I look forward to work tomorrow.

A sexist too? Man, you're a real monster. :p

My blank look as I stepped aside to let him past can't help itself, I suppose.

Jesus, Bubba. I hope this doesn't turn into something nasty. Do you have any witnesses?

Is she a secretary? She sounds like a secretary. Lawyer's secretaries are the biggest bitches in the world.

She should have retrieved the file herself.

Don't go in to work tomorrow. Take a personal day and tell your boss you don't feel comfortable coming in to a hostile environment.

Have you been written up, received a warning before?

I hate to say it, but you could be fired for this. Not my opinion just what could could happen.

Be aggressive with H.R.

I would suggest throwing out having "Fucker of Mothers" as your new title.

You might even get a raise.

Also the chick created a hostile work environment by cussing you out.

I can see HR getting involved if the woman felt insulted, but I don't understand it being seen as a racial thing. I mean, the only one who brought race into it was her

They have a history of being considered lazy, so there's a racial component. It's like the Obama can't be called a monkey thing. Ignorance of this isn't an excuse.

Say you called her lazy because she's fat. It's ok to discriminate against fat people. Tell them you have a lot of fat friends on a comic book message board.
