Good luck today!

I know it's stressful, but don't let this stuck up bitch get to you.

Bring the e-mails to HR. Explain how she brought race and bad language into it. File your own complaint to HR. Be prepared to talk to a lawyer if things don't go your way.

Yeah but just because she's black, she doesn't have the right to use foul language or be hostile towards a coworker. Her actions and lack of action on not taking initiative with the file are completely her fault. Whether she was lazy, or didn't want to tamper with his desk, or whatever, the file was made accessible even if Bubba was unavailable to present it to her. If she got chewed out by a lawyer/partner, that's her issue.

I was telling my mom about this since she has a lot of experience as a leader in a bunch of different PSFs and she said that it was a non-issue. If HR escalates this, then HR is silly.

I have a 8 paragraph essay of an email ready to forward to explain what happened, and all my emails ready to forward if I hear anything.

I literally couldn't sleep last night and my stomach is bleh..

I think this situation gave me an ulcer. I will keep you all posted..

I am an expect the worst and hope for the best guy, so I am worried...

You shouldn't worry too much.

If worst case they fire you, you go to the newspapers with your story. Its completely unfair to fire you for this.

It sucks that it got blown up into a racial thing, but you also shouldn't have insulted someone at work.

sounds like you have a case for undue stress from being called a mother fucker and being sexually harassed in the workplace.

Best of luck.

I think any reasonable person would look at your text with her asking for the folder and you telling her to get it, it proves she is lazy.

Seriously. I would raise Holy Hell with HR about all this.

I'd guess that she has a poor job history there and is trying to spread shit.

Best wishes and remember, Jude volunteered to be a character reference... oh shit...pointing out this place and all the fat jokes...

The papers won't give a crap. He should see a lawyer if that happens.
