Right??? After she showed up in Avengers, I actually went to the back issues to get her first appearance (an Amazing Spidr-Man annual if I recall). She was A-List in my book. And then it just went downhill...

I agree with Twigg about Y being one of BKV's weakest books. The other stuff is amazing.

This Y-bashing is just crazy talk. You people are weird

The Ellis Thunderbolts run is entertaining enough, but it's not like a true Thunderbolts team. It's just a straight up villain book about villains doing fucked up shit.

And honestly, I prefer the way Bendis handled that stuff in Dark Avengers.

Agreed, the character has fallen a long ways from the days when she was the Avengers' official leader.

I liked it, but that's my problem too, it doesn't really match all that well with the rest of the series' time periods. The only period that fits less was the whole Fightbolts thing, and the less said about that, the better.

What is this "Fightbolts" nonsense of which you speak? I know for a fact no such abomination ever happened, and frankly it sounds made up. A pox on you for daring suggest The existence of such a travesty

I think the fact the run was so short, combined with the lack of any kind of character growth, just kind of makes it an odd blip on the radar rather than some amazing story or anything.

I'd probably like it more if Bendis didn't do better stuff with basically the same group and idea on a longer run with more character growth and whatnot in both Dark Avengers and in the background of the rest of his Avengers run.

I liked most of Y. I think some parts were boring and the end wasn't very good.

I just think BKV's other stuff is much better.

Did anybody buy Fightbolts? Who thought " Hey, here's a great idea?" about that concept anyway?
