Oy...let's not reopen that particular wound. I accepted the "assiest" medal about four pages back.

One writer I think think is way overrated is Ed Brubaker. He just loves to bore me to fuckery. Everything I have read with his name on it has been dropped like a Snoop Dog/Neptunes collab

Edit: straight up fuck Mark Waid's shit too. Kingdom Come was like reading a geriatric Halloween party and Hunter Killer was a shitfeast with pretty art. After those two I'm convinced he couldn't write his way off the menu at Burger King.

Most environmentalists would probably agree with how I use the term, as fracking pretty much is f**king over the environment.

I remember reading Tower of Babel after finishing the Morrison JLA and I hated it. Mark Waid is one of the writers that makes me actually want to not buy a comic or graphic novel. I think it was one of the Superman stories, Our World at War, that I might have enjoyed a lot more if he used a pen name. There's just nothing about his work that I find appealling.

He's in the same category as Robert Kirkman and Ed Brubaker for me: Overrated and mediocre.

If comic fans had such high standards, the market wouldn't be saturated with so much tripe.

Sometimes when you order a pho, you get tripe in it. It's surprisingly tasty with an odd texture.

I also think Kurt Busiek is overrated.
