Oh, snap you saw the DOE episode "Family Reunion"? Good stuff! I always liked the concept of N'Dama however his alter ego Kurt was a moron unfortunately. You would think that after getting betrayed by Ming, that he would have known better than to ever trust him again-heck even Ming openly admitted before Kurt's death that he lied to him. I really wished that they hadn't killed N'Dama off as he was one of the better villains on the show apart from Ming.

At the risk of further deviate the thread,among the cartoons of the 80's Defenders of the Earth was a rarity because death actually happened to characters.And I mean death as in"he/she is dead for real and ain't coming back" death.

Fair enough. In regards to Kurt's death, I theorize the reason they killed him off was because outside of N'Dama, Kurt wasn't that interesting as a character and was rather one-dimensional, so I guess the writers didn't have anywhere else to take him-however, I would like to think that he somehow survived being destroyed and that his essence was still intact. If the show had continued, some writer could have easily brought him back or just have a new character become N'Dama.

I love that part of the Avengers movie by the way. However, the Weather Demon would not have made the same mistakes that that imbecile Loki made.
